Who are Cubecure?

We are an online shop with great service and choice but also a real store that started life in a village called Marsden, in West Yorkshire.

We love unique designs full of colour and fun, or designs with an ironic twist on practical use in a busy lifestyle. Stylish, classic, retro, unique; we want our choices to tick all these boxes!

About Us

Our History

Cubecure was born in 2004, a couple of designers doing their own thing and starting small. First, as a company interested in design solutions for the home (hence, 'curing your cube'), then came design commissions which led to publishing and finally we got our own space in which to display our choice of great gift ideas as well as personal lifestyle treats!

Bursting at the seams in our small space, and spurred on by positive customer comments we decided to expand from one room to three and add fashion to our portfolio.

Cubecure is a small business but with big ideas. Launching onto the internet after 8 high street years, was the next logical step, and we hope to continue this exciting journey by finding the very best ideas, for you to be unique.

Where we are... Come and find us!!

Marsden is situated on the A62, 7 miles west of Huddersfield or 10 miles east of Oldham. Cubecure is on Peel Street, the main street in the village, and street parking is FREE! Use HD7 6BW as the postcode for your sat nav and you'll easily find us!

Marsden has a railway station with regular trains from Huddersfield and Manchester Victoria.

Marsden and our original shop... Come and see us!!

We are very proud of our original shop in Marsden, the village community in which we are situated. We'd love to welcome you in person, so here is some information to tempt you to visit us.

About Us

We pride ourselves on a warm and friendly welcome and try to show as many of our products as we can, whilst keeping the displays contemporary and interesting. We don't believe in commission sales so all of us are here, to genuinely help you find what YOU need. If we don't have what you need then we're as disappointed as you, so we will even suggest where you can go to find it!

The valley where we nestle is surrounded by spectacular moorland but yet is easily reachable by road, rail and even canal! Marsden features fine old Victorian, stone built mills and features both a river and a canal with the narrowest, longest, highest and deepest tunnel in the country, linking Yorkshire with Greater Manchester.

This is a fine example of a community striving to stay 'local' in our modern times. We are lucky to still have a butcher and a baker (if no candlestick maker) as well as other shops and services enabling locals to solely use the village for their day to day needs. We also have a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs serving everything from bacon butties to salmon and sea bass gateaux with saffron sauce! We even have our own ice cream parlour making home-made yummy delights!

If you're a real ale lover we have our own microbrewery, whilst wine lovers have a fabulous choice at both the local wine bar with adjoining pizzeria as well as great 'by the glass' choices at some of the pubs.

You get the idea. Add to this, fabulous walking countryside, TV and film locations and a variety of unique festivals held around the year, Marsden can't fail to impress!
